I already know this, this is not secret on TA forums  I hope the first public release of TA will see the light in first months of 2010.

Proto would probably be the best one to answer this.. As far as I know - the game is definitely playable and we're working on getting all of the animations polished off as well as implementing all the menus. We've got new things going in everyday. That's the truth

Wahey!
Just had a quick thought, will we be able to play TA across a network? My friend [D-X]Jackster is in Guana and his Internet connection sucks, but he loves TO!

it is always possible to play ut engine games on lan. i think you should know that. even if you install it as web server the network kinda works like internet so you can even connect to the server if you dont start it as lan server with the ip of it.
and btw...watch your language. its you who didnt ask the question properly. and well...your friend is in guana, that sounds like you want to play over himachi or so, so i would have understood it the same way

Epic did it free for a few reasons. Number of licenses sold by epic wasn't high ( too risky for a developer) and the model they're now using means they get hundreds of old and new games developer teams making things in the unreal engine. This increases visibility abd usability in their engine, promotes new inventions ( game modes or better game mechanics ) and for every one out of x that make it to AAA title status gives epic serious money and promotes their game engine as one that makes top titles.
Although not a new model it's a model that increases epics chances of surviving the global recession.
TA will work on LAN and multiplayer online games with dedicated servers .

The UDK comparison-pics look great! Thought that the UDK is on the same engine-level as UT3 with latest patch, but this looks much better!  Looking forward towards the first TA-release.

This is so awesome. I definitely can not wait for the release of TA; I watched some of the videos and looked at the maps and they were beautiful. Keep up the great work.
