Was hoping for more exciting new myself but meh being updated is always nice Smiley

Anyways i posted the picture and a short description to both my clan site and esl

http://sto-gaming.org <-- clan site
http://www.esl.eu/eu/forum/139/108/769648/ <-- esl main section
http://www.esl.eu/eu/toaot/forum/1574/11897/769650/ <-- esl TO section

feel free to check em out

not sure if you want to but it could be an idea to add the esl site to the support teams list of sites as they run god knows how many leagues some of which are for cash prizes and it would be nice to see TA on esl when its released Smiley

http://esl.eu

also a list of clan sites for the support team if they want them

@ -Zlodey-  I responded to your comment in twitter. see front page.

Funny Smiley

Well, as YOU joined the Team, maybe something start moving.

Seriously, why all those bitter posts?
Is it in your personality to be so pessimistic, or am I just feeding a damn troll?:[

Wel, m8, its all about time. Time is passing by, too much time. Even UE3 getting old, new, really interesting games come out... and there is still no atleast first beta. No "alive" game for online play. No reason for many players to stick here, to help Team, to spread the word.
I start thinking, too much time passed for succes of this game. There is still chance to attract some players, but not too many time left for this. People left, they playing in something different than TO, and get used to this. And they will never came back.

BTW, I`m always supported TO series since version 1.6, posted many news about it for whole Russian TO-Community on Tactical-Ops.RU, when its alive, on PlanetUnreal.ru, on some Russian TO forums. But I`m really disappointed with TO:C first, and now with TA progress. I`am, big TO fan, one of oldest Russian TO players (noob, off cource Smiley), lost hope see "new TO".

I understand they may have gained an experienced developer with experience in this sort of gametype.  My understanding is that this massive ego'd individual has a proven track record of motivating people to work, is bringing a popular map with him and hopes to help get the best from this game with his efforts.

It should also be mentioned that he is a huge fan of cheese.

It is true that the morale in the playerbase has its... lets say, downsides..

If im right TA was planned to be made in the AoT time, before TOC was coming out... or at least i remember some bloke talking about it.

I'm afraid that "Pirate/Crook" is right, the longer the delay, the more ppl will fall off.
But then the game comes out and we all gonna play it and we live happily ever after Tongue

Bit of a dissapointing update. Couldn't we have just had a couple of screen shots of the maps? I mean, stuff like Deadlock has been in development a long time and we've already had a couple of screens, wouldn't hurt to throw out a couple more?  Sad

Good to hear things are moving though, sounds like the foundation is in place but to get the game finished you really need those extra people to kick production out.

If you feel frustration, join our support team and help finding new developpers. We need to give the TA-team massage, not negative energy.

We deserve to be slapped about - our last few news updates have not been great.

Basically inside TA i have had to reorganise the team. ALOT of the team have been with us since the start but the changes that took place over time have been a heavy price. including people loosing work / maps, and us loosing other assets (animations) because the rules layed out were not followed.

I have rebuilt my management team around me,grabbing people like mercy and arny to help alongside sam and bode (who has been VERY inactive). I also took myself into the management role properly now to manage TA. i took a very back seat approach in the past and the changes in place ensure TA is not only moving, but we are moving FAST.

TA has 3 explosive suprises it wants to reveal over time, each one will have you guys jumping with excitement.

We have had a very successful advertisement campaign for new members to work on TA, and have already taken on 5 new members, and have 20 in our inboxes to go though.

Any demotivation or prograstrination of TA in the past has been dealt with. Inactive members have been notified of the intended actions TA will take, and we are recruiting new and active members into our team to move us forward.

Whilst i appreciate you guys have been disapointed in our recent news updates, these have been essential in getting TA back on track and in the right direction.

We will be sure to show you progress of this new team in 2 months time. Including new levels and maybe ingame shots. We have a TA trailler planned soon too, but this all depends on how well the management and the team work togetehr over the next few months Smiley

Dude, you're not seeing my point. I'm saying that TA is moving forwards and that there is already brilliant content, but the updates don't show it or do justice to the hard work that has been put in.

I keep seeing and hearing of great things on the forums, and I can't understand why this sort of stuff hasn't been put on the updates! We've already had screens of Deadlock so I'm assuming it wouldn't be too difficult to get the map up and take a couple of new screenshots?

I'll take a look at that support group and see if I can be of any help. At the very least, I browse a couple of forums and could spread the word a little.

Cheers dude, I saw another post elsewhere on the forum about UDK and how much it has affected the project. It got mentioned in one of the updates but I didn't realise the impact it made, because with the update you had to keep a positive light on things! Sorry to hear about that, must be an awful feeling to lose work.

I included some people by mistake. We have at the moment 9 other people on trial, all of which are active.

Sooo.. the active number of people on TA at present is 34, but there's more applications to go through (about 20 or so.. yay Smiley)
