Dear community,

The TA team continues to work very hard but we have a shortage of volunteers in various departments to help us push development further. We are looking for a programmer, character animator (Maya), more environment modlers and texture artists; as our current teams are fully stretched.

Whilst TA continues to run at such a low capacity of staff, we are at risk of losing morale, in turn affecting our productivity across the board and completion being put back even further.

Do not fear though, since TOP-Proto is far too stubborn to fold TA or give up, we are certainly not quitters... but we want you to know how important it is to get new recruits in as soon as possible, so we finish this sooner rather than later.

This ‘members wanted’ poster was created by Scorpion, who belongs to the newly formed Support Team.

What is the support team?
The Support Team is a voluntary group of people, which assists the TA team in public matters, such as spreading the word about TA across various other websites and forums, or helping us out elsewhere.
The main difference between the Support Team and the main TA Team is the Support forums are public to everyone, albeit read-only. We hope this helps you to see and understand some of the work that goes on behind the scenes and the extent we are going to bring as much publicity to this game prior to a beta release.

Thanks  to Major_Tom, Scorpion and Sickmind as they applied the same day we announced that team and whom all have worked extremely hard.

If you would like to help us, then you can do so by linking our recruitment poster to the websites, news sites, blogs and forums you visit, as well as posting it on twitter, facebook and other social networks.
We are aiming to get it printed and put on notice boards in universities, schools and other establishments, however if you can do this (without breaking any laws) your help would go a long way to attract a bigger fan base and importantly the staff we are currently looking for.

The good news in combination with the good weather around here makes me feel good Smiley I hope the TA-ship will make his further journey in calm water. Lets hope more new talent will blow more wind in the sails and make the ship course right to his destination.

I will be graduating with a computer science degree in a month. After  that I will have tons of free time to dedicate to a programming job available here. I do not have experience with uscript but I have been pretty good in picking up languages fast. I have quite a bit of experience with state machine and OOP overall.
I asked about this job a few years ago, but they were not looking for anybody.

Let me know if it is reasonable for me to apply?

Hi
Long ago I put everything that goes on as the development of Tactical Assault. I read recently that are looking for some programmer, animator (Maya), modlers more creative environment and textures. Of those in need, I could create textures, but I do not have enough to create textures conosimientos to a video game that has stunning visuals. Please give me some reference link that has some tutorial or some creation of textures, this might help you see.
It would be a great honor to help them create the game that's sure to be better than the Tactical Ops Smiley

Hell, I'd apply, but the only level design experience I have is on the source engine, and the only true modding experience I have is for Battlefield 2.

This news release is a huge tease for me.   Embarrassed

When you work for a company, and production is two-fold.. you can not continue to operate and over-stretch your work force..since mistakes happen, work isn't done to the required standards, people get stressed.. and so forth.. all affecting the atmosphere and morale.

This all applies to TA which has/is being rectified and put correct.
It's not the case I have started things moving, more that I got people talking... which was happening in the first place, just not so openly & effectively.

no.. we are having to re-do many animations, since he didnt upload his work...

I don't know him, but apparently this is very out of character for MrFred..
So we are fearing the worse. You know as much as us.
