you got to remember that this animation for fire is probably around 0.25 of a second and tweening wil happen too.

we will be making these weapons animate as good as we can and they should be acceptable when you guys play Tongue

The last months we begged for looking in the kitchen. It's nice to see u guys cooking and taste a bit of the unfinished AK. With a bit salt and pepper it will be fine.
I hope criticism will not hold the team back for showing almost finished work in future.

In my opinion it's better to show almost finished stuff, than nothing. Mayb the tips of the community can help to get a perfect end result.

Im supprised there's so much activity on the forum Cheesy
Keep up the good work TA-team and keep the forum alive TA-community !

I will just say we have just proved our point here; We know for the future not to show any W.I.P.S because the community thinks it will be like that in-game, which it won't. Even though you guys are fantastic and trying to help us improve it Smiley I just think it's better to wait until it's finished completely.

I totally disagree Laky.. but can understand your reasoning.

You wouldn't have put it on your news release if "you" (the team) didn't feel it was to a high standard and to your full satisfaction. TA Team has not done it before, so for a second do not believe that this was a WIP, especially considering it does not mention this anywhere (only a preview).

It is better to release what "you feel" (the TA Team) is a finished product and for a minority of people to give you their constructive critisism and HELP improve it even further with suggestions etc etc... THAN for you to have released that (or anything else) in a beta and get ten-fold more suggestions and threads of similar 'issues'

You have to weigh it up, yes a BETA is designed to revoke such responses to make the game better (thats the whole idea of the process stage) but as you know, if it isn't damn near perfect on release to everyones high-expectations (naturally built up by the high level of detail, mapping, textures, animations and of course the waiting etc... ) you're be doing more internal damage to the future of this game than simplying shattering a few peoples personal ego/feelings about 1 animation review.

Tis better have tested the community now and give you time to correct these things than jump straight in.
That's just my 2 cents.

Happy 2010 to everyone by the way Smiley

Couldnt have said it better. The more stuff you show the better you will know if youre on the right track. Personally I hide the weapons so I couldnt care less about an AK animation but I hope not many players will be dissappointed about the beta release, because they just might never come back. Embrace criticism, all of it, and at any stage. Thats my 2 cts.
