Before the map was set in the daytime, but me and the rest of the team didn't really like it :/ It won't bring out the textures as well and stuff if it's daytime Smiley Thanks though anyway m8!

Hot damn!! Am I allowed to say that?

One question, is the Glock 18c the automatic version (used by The Joker in the Dark Knight) or the single and burst one?
We decided that full auto would be a bit unbalanced so it's just the standard semi-auto

Good point. The use of street lights and other lighting sources are much better in UE3 compared to UE1.

I don't think anyone would say that they play rapids, trooper and scope simply because they're set in the daytime. Wink
Neither would I  Wink But daytime maps are more popular just bacause you feel more cozy when a bright and warm sunlight is shining down on you. Night maps look better and daytime maps feel better. Thats just my opinion.

But to be honest I expected something about the alpha, like ingame screenshots of weapons, huds and such.
Sadly I haven't seen a dust map yet, but I'm sure you're planning to make one. (mosque etc)

I agree with Officer D, I personally feel better with daylight maps.

Are you going to make the scope of the snipers in example 2D as in AoT or 3D as in CoD4 or Bad Company?

Are there any more weapons planned than in the list below?

Thats the planned weapon list. Its probable that not all weapons will be in the first beta but the rest will follow shortly after.

The reason we have not yet provided any alpha stuff isn't becuse we aren't making progress... its mainly just becuse it all looks a bit messy at the moment. We know from past experience that its better to wait a bit longer and show you good quality stuff than it is to rush out something that is half finished.

On the main TA page on the right hand side about half way down. If you click on the link you can get detailed stats for page views etc.

That depends if we have time really I guess. We are alredy trying to hit some quite tight deadlines so possibly not at the moment since something like this is a really big job. We will definately do some proper promotional vids at some point though.

If anyone wishes to purchase me a new PC so I can play TA then I would be happy to work on producing some vids  Wink

any official statement on my previous post (in this thread) regards to flashlight, binoculurs and nightvision?

secondly.. it's already been commented by someone on the MODDB page, but i'll repeat again; the MP5A3 lighting is VERY dark.. looks like a blob, however under the shadows i'm sure it actually has some decent 'real life' looking effects. please fix Smiley

while coding the laser dot i made a decent flashlight, looked like the one in doom3 Smiley

We are on feature lock at the moment, which means we are not introducing anything new into our release plan at the moment, but i think the flashlight has good support from the TA Team and has a good chance of being in a future release of TA. It all depends on if it will add/enhance gameplay / tactical play Smiley

we are listening to the comments being made about our weaponry, and we realised we made a few mistakes this time round that we are all regretting.

Some of the weapons we are showing older renders - for example the ump, this is a recent wip (might not be the final design)
