I don't see a release this year, too, sorry. Sad

When I joined TO:C team as betatester it was a more or less complete, playable game, with all characters, weapons, maps etc.
That was about 8 months before the first public release! Shocked

Do the math... Roll Eyes

But apart from this, nice news. Cheesy

No we will not. As discussed before we decided that we would rather wait and release something good than rush out something that is half done for the MSUC. In the long run we think that this will be better for TA. If you release something that is a real mess then the bad press can kill it before it starts.

Basically the team wasn't capable of working the intense number of hours it would have needed to hit the deadline. There isn't anything wrong with this because at the end of the day none of us are pro's and we are all learning and have real lives too. For us it's about the experience as well as the end result.

FANTASTIC!!  The highly detailed SF model is ridiculously awesome.  And well done on the arms and sound in the video animation.  I can't wait to play the finish product.

As for other SF models and TR models, will they have any kind of camouflage designs on their outfits?  ex; tiger stripe, digicam, wooland, or jungle?  Also, will any of the models wear sports shades like some soldiers in real life?

Just thought I'd say good work, that animation is great and the model is super nice. I hope the model looks that good in game, because I know my computer could handle it. Don't mind programmers negative bs, he's probably some 14 year old kid who applied to the TA team and got turned down. Good luck and keep on doing what your doing, I know this game will turn out great!

Yes I totally agree. I was just wondering, because it was your goal originally to be a competitor in the MSUC.

Yeah, it is a bit of a shame I know but I think that we were very overly optimistic in our first estimates of how long the project would take. By our first timescale we would have had our first beta out 6 months ago!
