We wanted to try and prove to you guys that we really are ahead of the competition. We have got so much going on and its all coming together very nicely back here. A great example of this is the HUD which is being developed by kYo and Proto at the moment. A blend of artist and coder they work together surprisingly well...

Anyone fancy a game?
Ok we admit it, we haven't quite finished it yet but it is still looking good already... kYo as usual has come up with some amazing concepts for us and we are aiming to replace all those ugly UT3 menus with this sort of class. We are now focusing on getting this thing in the game so we can connect to the secret testing server. The only problem is that we will probably just spend all day staring at the menus, did I mention? They are gorgeous.

Who is keeping the scores?
Well you can tell that kYo has keeping score recently, he managed to sneak in there at the top somehow. Of course everything we design is from scratch so we thought that the traditional scoreboard could do with a bit of a makeover. Its only a concept at the moment but Proto is working away, getting it in game now so we can gloat when we kill him (aww we love you really Proto). Stunningly good looking and with all the required features, this scoreboard beats the rest of the team in at least one count. You can probably guess which Cheesy

Who needs a little lift?
Big models like this are often quite difficult, they are big in size but just as complex as small objects. All this adds up to make it quite a challenge. Hupie has proved himself to be very adaptable, working on all sorts of things for us in the past few months. We still figure modeling and texturing is his strong point though and when we asked, Hupie was eager to take the challenge on. We think the result speaks for itself.

We figured we should set our sights high
That's one scary looking gun, I don't think I would want to stand in the way of that thing really. Among some other things, Nathan has been working on this one recently and it has finished out pretty nice. It is still scary mind.

The missing nade from "Things That Go Boom" - Flash Grenade
This weapon is best dispatched when clearing rooms or when trying to flush out combatants that may be hiding around the corner. It will cause temporary blindness and deafness leaving the victim all but helpless if caught in the firing line. If you are on the receiving end of one of these then take cover quickly to avoid being exposed.

If you want to help the team then vote for us as Unreleased Mod Of The Year at ModDb by clicking on the image. Remember the second stage starts on tommorow so the voting starts all over again. The winners get some top development prizes and of course the all important publicity. We want this game to be HUGE so we need as much exposure as possible, mods like Red Orchestra have won this before so its no small task. Remember - every vote counts.

The concept designs are world class. kYo is certainly a huge asset to the TA team (i'm still waiting for his website concepts to hit our screens live!)

The flash grenage texturing is perfect, it looks heavy and bulky, however I can not say the same for the sniper rifle (maybe some reference pictures would be an idea for an accurate comparision). I feel it looks too plastic along the butt and hand grip of the sniper, too "one-tone" - the scope attachment and rifle barrell both look "dull" giving it a very matte effect. Hope the constructive crit helps.

get the moddb links up at the top of the site/forums with a little logo or something "vote us"
